The Rothar Cafe

Bikes and coffee go well together...

...Therefore Rothar decided to open a cycle cafe in a central location of Dublin city for you to read, talk and enjoy everything bike related. We provide bicycles, repairs, cakes (home made) and triple certified coffee.

Have a seat while we fix your puncture, grab a croissant while dropping your bike for a service! And as usual, we will provide bike parts, accessories and advice on all things bike!

Rothar is a team of two full time staff and about 15 volunteers

Anne, the founder and director, will answer any questions concerning cycling promotion, bicycle recycling, earn a bike workshops and cycle training. You can contact her on info@rothar.ie. Our organisation advocates for self-empowerment of disadvantaged communities by promoting vocational training and eco-friendly mobility.

Social Entrepreneurs Ireland aims to ignite social change by identifying, investing in, and supporting Irish social entrepreneurs - individuals who are prepared to take risks by applying their energy, drive, ambition and innovation to tackle some of Ireland's most entrenched social problems. Since 2004 the Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Awards programme has selected and supported 113 leading social entrepreneurs, providing financial support, training, education and network opportunities.
